Charity...

First n foremost, i would like to wish ya ppl out thr merry xmas n a happy new year. ^_- Well, its like almost 9 more days before countdown to an end of year 2006 and a beginning of yet another new year,2007. A lot had happen in 2006 with lotsa memorable memories,i guess. Unwanted things do happen and also to those unforseen circumstances, for those who felt 2006 isnt a good year for him/her, i guess u will see a much different and better situation in 2007. Dont u think so? Well, new year comes with new environment, fresh challenge, new expectations, new frenz and so forth. Okay, before we kiss goodbye or bid farewell to the remaining days of 2006, cherish this last 9 days with everyone around ya! Give them presents, send them cards, compliment them or whatsoever to make each n every of our lives meaningful. =p

Today, i m goin to share with u bout this lil charity thing i did with a bunch of uni good frens from IET Student Chapter. (In case u dont know anything bout this club, click the link at the right side of this page to know more bout it) Our destination for today is Desa Amal Jireh ( Rumah Faith & Faith Eagle's Nest), situated in Kajang.

Doing charity is actually doing something good to the society. This days, people seem to have forgotten the existence of such home. Earning money and spend it, thats how they revolve. Should i say materialistic rulez? But we cant deny how important money can be, rite? Does money means everything? Whoops, forget bout my thoughts n rumblings. Getting to the main point,


yeah,donations...til the end of this year only...

This poster isnt self made or frauds. For those kind-hearted reader out thr, if u feel like donating then u can see da poster above. Your kind donation will make a difference for them. Donation comes from ur heart, its up to u to do so. No one can FORCE u. A FORCED donation is not called a donation. Much more like an extortion. I have seen a lot of con-job goin around in KL, mainly to those well-known shopping complexes like Midvalley, 1 Utama and Bukit bintang area. They somehow manage to get hold of those approval letter to ask donation from public and use it for their own purposes. Such act should be condemned!!!

Back to our activity, we reached there bout 9.30am. Started of with a word of welcome from the person in charge. We had a couple of games and songs in store for those kids. To my surprise, those kids reli had the talent to sing a lot of chunted songs. Those kids come from various background. Some came from broken family, whereas some had lost their parents due to unknown reasons. There is one cute lil gurl, whose mum is a drug addict and dad unknown, was left all alone. At first, her mum wanted to sell her for money (buy drugs) but due to the great act by her aunt, she was rescued and thus, send to this special home. She was no longer being lonely since 6 months old and was taken special care in this home. These kinda parents are totally rubbish to the society, not only destroying their own future but also to their childrens'. These children needs love n care from ppl and the existence of this home provides that.
