28 November 2009 is the date where i first step my foot in Bagan Lalang. Never know why it's named as such (I don't see any lalangs around) but it's really a wonderful place with nice seaside. I had my Career Unit team building at there with bunch of crazy yet fun people. Just in case if you don't know where, it's somewhere near Pantai Morib, Selangor. I will try to blog on the event after getting the pictures and of course, have my free time. Anyway, take a look at the pictures below. It's a weird accident that had happened right in front of KTM Serdang on that historic date..

My 3 weeks of holidays is filled with Career Carnival work which is mostly dealing with my team to call for companies for participation & sponsorship. Most local and private varsities' Career Fair is handled by their university's management centre. That's also somewhat special about UNITEN. I got to know only MMU, besides us had their career fair handled by students. I find this a plus point for the students as we do actually learn how to liaise with the corporate people, request for sponsorship, make calls and work out different methods to achieve our target.

1st season schedule.. all about ur career..

Apart from my work, I had also attended 2 workshops organized by the TalentEDGE company at Jaya1 Starbucks. WoW? Workshop at Starbucks? It's more like a ~~night talk~~ discussion session where you watched in 8TV late night (if you do, you will understand what i meant), except that this is way much more informative for us students regarding our future.

The first season is an 8 weeks event entitled the Plugged series; which compromise 8 different topics every week as you can see in the schedule. The discussion involves not just students from various universities but also special guests from corporate world (even from the ministry). It's more like an open topic discussion focusing on career path rather than technicality on what you had learned in your varsities. This meeting will enable us students to interact with the potential employers and to understand what the job market is looking for at the moment; prospect employers (the guests) will be able to grasp on the thoughts of fresh graduates concern.

There goes my 3 weeks of holidays. FYP2 progress = 0%. I am starting to feel the immense pressure and ~~supervisor onslaught~~ heat on my project. Thank God for the days through my varsities years and now left with the final semester to go. I am satisfied with the results achieved overall though it's not that excellent (started to accept the fact that maybe grades aren't the decisive point, you have other factors too which is far more important). I am hoping to achieve above than what I targeted in the end. 2 more subjects and a project to kill... ^^

October month is surely great! It's also a timely celebration before heading towards the usual final exam 'battle'. Lolx. Before going for war, we must also prepare ourselves emotionally right? The ancient Chinese wars those days always have a night of drink before heading for the great battle. Anyway, this post is about the post-birthday celebration with 2 of my ~~heng-dais~~ Ipoh friends; the first after knowing each other for the past 8 years. ^^

Pondering back the days in LUI, we weren't quite close back then (except u 2 la). I am also wondering how did I got close along the way till today. Maybe that's the Librans fate? Hehe! Moreover, our birthday falls in the same week (somemore one is Yong-blooded). I suddenly remembered another Tan. ^^

Thanks to the organizer, Ms. Yong (why do I sound like I call you, SuSu?) the plan goes on without fail even though got postponed. It was great to meet you 'twins' (might have been twins if not just a day separating you both, maybe?) to talk and share 'interesting' stories. Even in KL or Ipoh, still it's so hard for us to meet up just because someone is super busy till one year only meet once, or twice? Hehe. So, the organizer ~~(izzit?)~~ randomly chose Paddington House of Pancakes (POHP) in Midvalley as the venue of the celebration. =p

The food's okay. I would recommend for the pancakes rather than ordering the set actually. Overall, it's quite delicious and the environment is good for a place to dine in. The pancakes here is really special compared to the ordinary ones ~~japanese pancakes~~ sold outside.

It's more than a month since my 22nd had passed. Well, nothing much to say; I am still who I am all this years except that I am much older right now. This year's birthday celebration was far far ~~cleaner~~ better than the past 2 years. This has shown that we were all grown ups, really. I would like to thank everyone for the wonderful wishes that I had received. I had my first 'official' celebration at Shogun, Sunway.

I had tasted several Japanese Buffet restaurants around KL; Tenji & Jogoya to name a few. Honestly speaking, buffet is like what we pay to 'suffer'. You got me right! Greed is part of human personality and I am not exceptional ones. We always have the thoughts of value worth money. What we pay is what we should get, right? Pay RM 70 bucks for a meal and you do hope to eat that much of amount ~~RM70~~ in return, thus leading to never-ending food congested in your mouth, esophagus and stomach until you are really ~~bloated~~ satisfied. We walked out of the restaurant in such a bigger shape and a longer distance between our legs like the penguin.

Anyway, it's the sort of life that people like me can only afford once in a blue moon. I would only go for all these when there's a promotion going on. I still remember going to Jogoya 3 times in a month because of the buy 1 free 1 promotion. The 3rd time I went there, I seriously have the feeling of puking. Urgh!!!

I would rate Shogun 7/10. It seems the one at Sunway is far much better than 1 Utama. What say you, if you had tried? Still, the choices here are a little lesser compared to Tenji or Jogoya. Special thanks to my so-called 'Boss' for the day with me at Shogun besides my brothers. ^^

Later that night (12am), it's the second round by my ~~super-duper crazy~~ wonderful gang in my varsity. Like what I had mentioned earlier on, it's the first ~~matured~~ peaceful birthday celebrated by them. It's also a memorable night for all Chelsea fans out there as Liverpool were beaten flat 2-0; all credits to Drogba for both of the assists. I had my fun watching both sides playing as a neutral fan. Liverpool's form was far in contrast to last season. Arsenal all the way!!! ^^

Can you believe this, a 'high-class' public toilet in the middle of the road? Yes, that's right! You didn't get me wrong. In the hustle & bustle city environment, this toilet actually existed, in KL. Go to Sogo Shopping Complex to shop for your clothes or groceries and you will find the toilet I meant when you walk towards Pertama Complex...

I was quite astounded to have come across this toilet; leaving the 3 of us in a curiosity state and temptation to explore this. (OMG, toilet only leh... nvr see b4 ka? u ppl from which kampung wan?) All it takes is just a mere 20 cents coin to test it out & of course to release my full-tanked bladder. The toilet seems cool from the outside, how about inside?

It's kind of nostalgic to ponder back how 141,912,000 seconds (approximately 4.5 years) had just passed. So fast! That leaves me with a semester of 2 subjects and a project more to round up my bachelor years. How much the 'seconds, hours and so many days...' experience had changed me for a ~~ma-ku~~ better person (I hope) in my life... =p

This post is dated back somewhere about 2 weeks ago. It's on our UISC IET retreat that should have been done a year ago. Well, I guessed most of us were busy with things going on resulting in such delay. Thank goodness it's finally done this semester. Our initial plan was to eat Dim Sum Buffet in Sri Petaling; Janbo Restaurant but the shop has been closed down for quite some time. Crusader Tan and I had researched for other dim sum buffets around KL but to no avail, few of them does not cater this on Weekdays. In the end, Iynggra suggested the restaurant in the picture below and there we go; probably my final fun outing in UISC IET club.

09/09/09 was supposed to be a very good day for everyone. Some take this as a day for their love, relationship or romance (you name it) and some take this an opportunity to work on their career. Well, 99 in Cantonese simply means 'gao gao' or also known as long as it can be. So, long lasting love, career, health and etc; this is what people hope for in their future.

As for me, I did not really hope much anyway prior to that day. It's just an ordinary day where I assume my study life and etc. How unlucky for me to pick up this injury after just few minutes of playing football at my varsity's mini stadium...

I felt so bad that I ffk-ed my gang. Initially, I was supposed to watch the late night movie "Orphan" with 9 of them but due to this unwanted incident, left me no choice but to ffk. (Can hardly move also) Thousand apologies! I find that people lately do not know how to apologize. They live in the world as if they are the only ones that is the most important just because they are much better in several ways. Maybe the society, as in the surroundings affects a person pretty much. Anyway, I can't let myself to be bother by that anymore. Life goes on... Cheras 'Tong Sui'...

Since the beginning of this semester, my Sunday morning is kind of occupied occasionally by futsal. This is what happens to a guy who has much of a free time to do at the moment. Football is my passion and I enjoy every moment of playing, or watching it. I don't know if UNICS Cup this time around will be better than last year? Hopefully we can at least score a goal, if not win a game! Right or not, Manager M? The place that I went for Sunday's futsal is pretty far; the Challenger in Cheras. Usually, it will just be at Sg. Chua Kajang Indoor Futsal. After the game with my elder brother and his gang last Sunday, we went nearby Leisure Mall to try out some food, thus led us to this 'tong shui' shop...

The entire month of August was without any post except the one and only tribute for a late friend of mine, Gary Robert. This is as a special column & remembrance for him who's up there closer to God. Life goes on, so does everyone. No matter what the future outcome will be, you had always lived amongst us. For those who still hadn't known anything about it, I personally encourage you to visit the GARY's WEBSITE. Till we meet again in the future, bro...

To start things up, there's good news that I would like to share here. The IET Present Around the World (PATW) was held earlier this morning. As an ever loyal supporter to UNITEN's Student Chapter, I went there to watch few great presentations delivered by our varsity's representatives (Iynggra & my elder bro, Boon Leong). The winner of this lucrative competition is an all-sponsored trip to Beijing to represent Malaysia for the regional Asia level. After getting through this round (as a champ which is an even more difficult task to achieve) the winner will then represent Asia to the World stage in London. Anyway, not going that far yet, I would like to congratulate my elder brother again for his success for emerging as the champion. He will follow the footstep of the previous ex-winner, Weeser from my varsity but this time not to Hong Kong but Beijing for the Asia level competition. All the best for that and will continue assisting you for your success that made my parents proud once more... ^^

Moving on to another issue, finally after days (don't know since when already) of planning on workout, I finally got myself kick-off with gym at True Fitness. This was actually a special promotion I got during the Pesta Karnival Seni UNITEN last month from Pro Direct Company. 30 bucks for lots of good deals at True Fitness (free 1 month VIP membership, free Door Gift, free 1 session of body massage & free 1 week of Yoga class) worth up to 800 bucks. Looking forward to learn something from those classes, 5 of us will be terrorizing all 4 outlets of True Fitness gym for the entire September. (My elder bro, Chan Yee, Weeser, Keat and me to make that 'KS' gang) Hopefully, I can gain some fitness and a little more muscular from this workout. =p

A special tribute to my nicest friend ever, GARY! Words definitely can't describe my feelings upon hearing this worst news. My life in UNITEN wouldn't be great & complete without you around for the past 4 years. I can still remember your smile and expression all this while. Uncountable memories we had went through together and yet, why must this be the conclusion? Why must good people are usually the first to be resulted in death ? It's something I definitely can't comprehend... T.T

I still remembered the first time I knew you was way back in Foundation year, 2nd semester. We were in the same class going through Physics 2 with the bunch of crazy friends. Ever since then, that's where our bond started to get closer. From then on, we joined the same classes, IET committee, career team, outings, futsal, swimming, badminton and etc. Not to forget, the special semester time where we enjoyed ourselves in the Mandarin class. The lecturer gave you a 3 characters long name. (we just talked about that last Thursday... 开学第一天, 老师...) Every approach that you made upon all of us is a gentle one. We definitely had great, great fun together; but no longer now or the future...

You do not used to rejection to any approach by us. As happy-go-lucky with the great smile of yours, you will join us along every time we asked. You were so excellent in studies and sports. An all rounder yet humble, down to earth person; you really gave inspiration to how living a harmony life should be. Definitely a great role model and admiration to me and others as well... You pulled me in to the Techflow & Xmas Night where I really had a great time working with you; drawing me closer to the love of God and learning his words...

We really do cherish lots of times together. The pictures themselves can never tell how much we have went through and how much I can say; it will just remain as a loving memory to all of us forever. Your demise is a very,very great lost; great lost to everything in this world can be...

Finally, I get to finalize my final year project title. I proposed it at the very last minute due to some miscommunication with the system. (da system here, really ‘mah farn’…) For the next 1 year, I am going to do research on ‘Control & Energy Management of Hybrid System’. Yeah, that’s basically my FYP title which sided more on electrical power; hybrid renewable energy and its control. Sounds nice but I can tell you that it’s not going to be an easy one.

My elder brother did something on the renewable energy (feasibility of tidal wave) and the amount of time & effort put in was tremendous. I still remember vividly from time to time he has to go around several departments in the government just to get data, statistics and information. (till I don’t have car to drive…) The pressure that he gained plus the motivation & guidance of his supervisor has led to the completion of his FYP, successfully. Truly enough, all these efforts paid off as he has just been crowned the best FYP in EP department 08/09. Congrats and hope your masters can achieve the same feat, if not the same. Anybody who is interested in tidal wave can always contact him. =P

As for me, I know to get that achievement will be a tough one especially I am doing a more-to-power title in EC department. I will just give my best to complete it (Motto: Do the best & let the rest come by itself) for one of my main purposes, that’s to do PhD after graduating a Bachelor Honors Degree. Yes, you didn’t get me wrong. I think most of my varsity friends didn’t know that they can actually do their PhD directly, skipping Masters that comes with certain requirements. They are a strong CGPA of more than 3.75 (a must) upon graduating plus few minors (good FYP and etc). This ruling was effective at the end of 2007 and as far as I know, only 1 managed to do that here at the moment. This jump isn’t bounded by our varsity only, but maybe in overseas also. (our certificates quite ‘sek-hiong’ with all the accreditations achieved) Do check out from time to time with COGS people to reaffirm my statement here. Hehe! Good news?

In my case, it will also depend on my sponsors, if they are willing to let me do so or release me. (Hoping that they do…please?) ^^ Anyway, the future still lies far ahead; though a year is all the time I have before stepping into the working life, I suppose. Live life to the fullest, enjoy what you can and always cherish things around you. =) Just back from MP & YS birthday celebration at Tenji Japanese Buffet and Man Utd training session at Bukit Jalil National Stadium. Industrial Training was finally completed today. (Full report & presentation over!) YeAh~ (Letting out a loud scream) Hadn’t had the time to update the blog partly because of the time taken to settle down. (& also the dumb**** internet connection here… have been complaining about it since DAY 1 of my varsity life) The past 2 weeks had given me a flashback to the stresso uni-life that I had. First up is supposed to be the Final Year Project (FYP) which I have to finish the proposal over the weekend. My supervisor and project title can say almost settled. If things go right, I am truly happy about it. Let’s all hope for my wish to come true. ^^

Next stop, MAN UTD trip to Malaysia! Watching Michael Owen donning in MU’s new t-shirt? (Shirt number also is unknown & maybe not significant?) Some Liverpool fans would like to ask his signature on a Liverpool T-shirt on that prior day. (‘potong stim’ ka?) Let’s all have a great fun and KS next week…

This Sunday, I will be participating for Ipoh Starwalk. (Anyone going? Maybe can bump into each other...) Join my dear Boss and my frenly neighbourhood. Really not fit at all! Fat sia; eat and sleep most of the time, added by the tastylicious 'yee-poh' food. Futsal and badminton also very less liao. Sigh! How to get the cert? Tomorrow must really start to jog liao. Hehe. Must push myself to train my stamina. Kenot lose to Wen Zhi... hehe... Really very long time never see you and Yee Ling d; since we know in Form 2 and then years back. Anyway, thanx for organizing the meet out. ^^

Still got some more our UNICS Cup and most probably UNITEN Cup competition. Next sem must seriously keep fit already. Swimming, jogging, work out and badminton to the max! Lolx. So fast, really never expect I did reached to this stage now; reminiscing the past days in my foundation... Looking forward to enjoy the happy time out with KS-o gang again. Alright, my supervisor (Uniten Lecturer) visit was settled yesterday. A nice and simple visit by Mr. Wong Hung Way made life easy for most of us. We (5 of us) discussed with him for 2 hours and get necessary things done. Doubts cleared; the details on the SITH website isn't accurate. The logbook due on June 29th and oral presentation on the 4th of July that were listed in the website are due to be postponed to another week, where semester reopens. Please confirm with your respective supervisor about this. Good indeed, I will have a week break to rest before entering to my FINAL YEAR (enjoy year and do all necessary stupiak or KS things.... before stepping into working life, or not?) ^^

This stupiak fun thingy starts with the MU 2009 tour in Malaysia on the 18th July 2009 at Bukit Jalil National Stadium. The EPL Champions coming to Malaysia! Bought the ticket from the KS group; RM98 per ticket considered good enough which includes a lanyard and training session. I would love to see CR7 demonstrating some footballing tricks + skills which might be useful for our UNICS/UNITEN Cup tourney??? That's if he's still at Man United by then... Transfer season is getting hotter with Kaka going to Real Madrid. I am not a great fan of Man United but just an ordinary guy with great footballing passion. Hehe...

I am down to flu this morning. What a bad day to fall sick! Hopefully, I will be able to recover by the night before leaving to Penang! Yeah! (Voodoo!) Internship is going to an end in 3 weeks time...

Epidemic...

We all know H1N1 virus, the new deadly virus spread worldwide has reached to an alarming state in Malaysia. News from the media has stated double figure of suspected cases here. Hopefully the figure will only decrease till the end. Recent years, we had heard several epidemic virus being spread around the world; endangering our lives. H5N1, SARS, Nipah virus and JE; just to name a few. You don’t find these years way back.

Anyway, the situation has led me to a deep thought. From another aspect I’ve seen, life in this world is temporary (just like what the Bible has stated) for we mortals. People chase for materialism and beauty but all this couldn’t be brought in after life. Just imagine; you might be the smartest, the richest, or the best looking person ever on earth but when health’s affected, all this will not bring much meaning anymore. People strive with tremendous stress too achieve great things. They might succeed, or they might not. Some things are left neglected in the end as time passed...

Maybe this internship has led me to see life with lease stress. How some people have chosen stress throughout and some not. I like the simple minimal stress-life. It’s just so fun where you don’t really have to think too much technically. Any free time can go for futsal or badminton. (Exercise + social = healthy) No problem to ‘yumcha’ with friends also. Though money kept flowing out and no income to fill in but still the excitement is there. (Broke, very poor now…) Apart from that, back to the point; just like the epidemic that has landed on mankind, you might have all you think you wanted but if this virus falls on you, you’re doomed. Therefore, just a simple message to all, life in this world is temporary. Live on happily, do things that will bring happiness around each other. Take good care of your health. Live life with no regrets!

My brother and I did a massive clean-up at our granpa's house. He's already in the late 80's and thus, staying alone will be very dangerous. Therefore, the house will be sold for good and he'll be travelling around to enjoy life! We went to the rear and the alley to clear up stacks of unknowns, wrapped with very old and dusty black plastic bags only to find more and more cockroaches with their eggies tombed inside. I found that most of the equipments are really history. You can't buy those now; do take a look at them...

Alright, since we got a pretty good feedback, I guess the trip will go on after all. Positive! Let see what plans I can draft out. Actually, Ipoh doesn’t have many places to play. It’s a food paradise and a very good place for retirees. A very good advice to you; please let your stomach real empty before coming here. LolX… ^^

A 3 days 2 nights plan in Ipoh:-

Day 1

Estimated time should be reaching Ipoh by noon. Eat at big tree leg. Then, come to my house for lodging settlement. (lolx!) I think max capacity should be 8 people, so the extra’s can go partial’s house. (maybe all gurls + Jason C will go there) Haha! Paisehlar, my house very small only; you people try to adjust a bit to squeeze and sleep. Anyway, this is a very good time for you all to get the bonding closer. A rare chance for 8 to sleep in a room! (I might join in the fun… =P) Cherish the moment! LolX! (sounds so ghey…) Sit a while and start to roll on before 4pm. Then we will go taste tau fu far at the town or you can choose Nam Heong Oldtown White Coffee. (Not ‘that’ Oldtown White Coffee which was registered officially but the origins in Ipoh…) As usual, we will go hunt ‘nga choy kai’ before going for 16 tower ‘kai kiok’. On the way also can go to Buntong wantan mee. I heard it doesn’t taste that good already. Then, we will go to Ipoh Garden there to eat more food, food and food. Food till at night. Then can go to Greentown area yumcha. Anyway, I listed a lot already. I don’t think we can cover all these places so you people will have to decide what you want on that day. ^^

Day 2

Alright, here we go! Lost World Tambun, Tambun Hot Spring and Gua Tempurung are the few places which are quite near to Ipoh. If you all have 1 more extra holidays, we can either go up to Cameron Highlands or to the seaside Pulau Pangkor. We’ll see how time can be adjusted for that. As for now, we will go for the Gua Tempurung. Ladies, P time will not be right at that moment. =p It will last till 3pm I guess. (If the weather turned to be not good; sorry to say we'll just have to cancel that out) Then, I think I’ll let you try Ipoh’s ‘ngau lam fun’ at town. Let you all compare that with Tangkak’s. (I prefer Tangkak’s… dunno why?) At night, you all can opt for steamboats. Ipoh got reli lots of places for steamboat around the town. It will serve good purpose to sit for long while eating, chatting, camwhoring with each other (bluekz) and etc. Night spot will be good in Greentown area unless you all want to go clubbing places like RJ. Lolx! There’s also an alternative plan to go 1 day out in Bukit Merah and Taiping. Hehe, your call!

Day 3

Okie, more food in the morning! Move out early la before 9pm. That’s not the trend to sleep so late and wake up late here as you will really miss the good food. Can choose at Menglembu there or town area or curry mee. After that, we’ll go Gunung Rapat to get you some souvenirs. (heong piang, pamelo and etc) You can also opt to visit the limestone cave, something special also in Ipoh. 2 near there and 1 more near Kampung Tawas. The last option to spend time there is to go the shopping complex. (Parade or Jaya Jusco) C’mon, KL already so many shopping complex (Jusco Cheras Selatan till sien jor) so I think this will be the last resort. You can choose what time you all would want to leave.

These are just the drafts, a rough idea how we're going to spend 3 days 2 nights here. Any other places that I had left out? Do inform me if you have a destination that you would want to go. ^^

Gua Tempurung...

Hey peeps! It's kind of weekend post after a long week. As usual, passing by those internship days define the meaning of boredom. On top of that, this week I am putting myself in your shoe, Waiser! =) I meant about the video editing stuff. Not that I didn't make any video before but before this, I am just used to Windows Movie Maker which is pretty basic. (I felt larhh…) I am doing 2 videos; 1 for this lil girl whose sis is going to get married (Congrats to your sis!) and another one is for my department's boss who's going to transfer from TNB Transmission to UTP as a senior lecturer. There will be a farewell party for him this coming Wednesday and thus, landing myself in this video job. I find that making a video might seemed easy but the hardest part is where you'll have to crack your creativity to combine with the pictures & what's available for you in the software in order to create a very good output. For those videos, I used Cyberlink Power Director 7. It's quite user friendly and I seriously do recommend anyone of you to use this software. ^^ (I have the software; any of you want?)

Now, back to the main point that's the Gua Tempurung trip. I was assigned the task to find details on Gua Tempurung by the organizer; Summy/Partial. Special notice to the crazy gang members or the partial KS gang. ^^ Take a look at the 4 types of adventure that you people want to try out in Gua Tempurung.

Of course, I would prefer the fourth option which will last 3 hours in the cave and it's only available for any days except Friday. Since most of you aren't Perakians, it's once in a blue moon that you will actually drop by here right? Come so far just to choose the simple adventure? I know it's not our gang's nature. Hehe. There's a minimum of 8 people in a group so I think our group will meet that requirement. It won't be a problem if any extra's that would wanna join, feel free! Anyway, please do confirm with me if any of you interested/coming and your choice from the above table okie? KL and Penang people; please do confirm fast ya!

This is a ‘seems-to-be new but has existed for long’ department in the government to check on the blogs or electronics content by Malaysians. As we all knew, globalized world enable us to have more freedom and intelligence, therefore some people were undeniably misusing the electronic medium and multimedia devices that will bring disharmony to the society. These acts are such as condemnation, harassment, defamation or putting malicious content that can jeopardized and be a threat to another person’s life. I do agree some people tend to go overboard and as such, this department should be well aware off by the public. It seems that the Malaysian society are kind of shy or let things off the hook easily about this issue till the research shows that none actually lodged an official complain; they love to keep things private & confidentially. If any bloggers who blog something very negative about you, do take up the opportunity to protect yourself. You can turn the tide!

After a week...

Conference? This is what happen after a week without seeing each other. Lolx! Got only 6 at that time but later on still got some coming in. Got a few didn't online (the choong's, keat, maypeng, seeyuan and etc) so the room still ok la. Just imagine chatting with more than 10 people at a time? Blur gila! Hehe! Wish everyone going for their internships the utmost best and do enjoy to the fullest! (eventhough some might not) ^^

I didn't reply much but to mention about our planned trips. Arsenal match was going on that time and I was watching with tense to see a very bad first half as they are down by 1-0. (Saw Bendtner there, Kiong KAn lor) Luckily the second half changed drastically with Fabregas, Adebayor, Arshavin & Walcott saving the Gunners arse before they are going goner. 4-1 the final score. Good to see their form is coming back; 17 matches unbeaten. Go gunners! (Champs League, Premier League & FA Cup) Why not? The odds are still there. Even new whizkid Federico Macheda gave a stunning 2 match-winning goals for Man Utd to cruise on the title. (unlike Anelka) He's a good one to watch in the coming years. ^^

Friday’s always the best day for everyone, caused we can take rest the following days. (weekend) I had just started the LI (Industrial Training ~ Latihan Industri) this week. This is the first time I am stepping into the real working life, I supposed. Before this, I only had the promoter experience up my sleeve which is a non-technical job. What experienced? TNB Ipoh Transmission Department is the place I am doing my internship. I already had my timeline of section that I will be going through for the next 3 months; starting from Business Support, Tele Control, Protection, Lines & Cables, Substation and last but not least, Technical Support. All those scope of job is under TNB’s Transmission Department. Basically, this week I am starting the Business Support before going to Tele Control for the following 2 weeks.

Business Support is all about supporting the Administration Department or what we called as Office Work. How’s that familiar to you? I did nothing much actually as some of you knew (seeing me online during working hours) about it. Hehe. What can I say? I only get to know the introduction about this department though it’s very boring at times. Without any appropriate work assigned, I ended up reading manuals about SCB charger, relay, circuit breaker and power-related stuff. My goodness! I thought I don’t have to do that (study) during the internship as I had just suffered serious critical brain damage for the past 3 weeks prior to the finals. Lolx. Apa boleh buat? Akur saja….

Next week, job will change to a more technical part which is Tele Control. Once more, I have to use the knowledge on signals and communication system in it. DSP!!! Filters, signals and etc. I guess I can’t run away from them. Alright, enough! ^^ Putting my interns aside, take a look at the pictures below. It’s my bedroom in Amanah Apartment. That’s the last semester I am staying there and it’s been 4 years of affection I have there. Amanah, I guessed you served me quite well for that long period of time. Today will be the Earth Hour's Day from 8.30pm till 9.30pm. Sigh, not that I am in the mood to join in the celebration but what to do, in the midst of FINAL EXAM! With subjects like SEMICON and DSP, I can't rest on my laurels yet. So, tonight will be just as normal for me; a time to spend with books even with the dimmest of lights available. Though partially joining the event, I still give my support for it; by closing my room light or electricity for 1 whole day. ^^

Coming to the end of the semester, I would say this semester is a rough one. A lot of things happened in a glimpse of an eye. A decade seems to be just a moment right now. The on-going 4 & a half months journey are reaching to an end. Series of unfortunate, weird, unhappy, ‘ghey’ yet joyful and satisfactory events had taken place; beginning from a semester of organizing events rather than studying, break-up, ghey stuff (KS), accidents, and handling a mammoth pressure to all sorts of things that your imagination can ever describe. Life’s horizon has indeed broadened and thoughts might have been a little extra matured in seeing certain things…

techflow annual christmas play... the stage crew team... a very successful event...

UNITEN's Career fair 2009 is another successful event being held last month. It takes months of thorough preparation to make things happen at the end of the day. I gave my utmost respect to the top 4 people in our board; Harin, Soraya, Wei Pin and Suresh for the way they managed everything. Respect and kudos! Glad to be part of this team; I am in the Corporate Relation Department under 'Susu'. It's a very good achievement to be able to call 40++ companies to participate in our career fair at times like this. We all know that the global economic crisis is affecting every nation in the world. Nevertheless, in our country itself we read news about companies closing down and downsizing. Electronics sector is badly hit due to the crisis. Recession has yet to be felt but it's coming slow. Anyway, it's the first time the event was held in the Dewan Seri Sarjana (the biggest hall available here). Hopefully next year, the event will go to a much greater height.

Edwin's car in accident few years back...

The very first time I've met wif an accident was years back which I couldn't recall. (I don't recall unhappy stuff) That was just a very minor knock which ended up in a slight scratches. Then, comes the second one; happened after a futsal match in Kajang as you can see in the picture above. I am not the driver this time, just the passenger. Any mishaps could have been even worst, causing 6 of our lives on the spot. Thank GOD we were all fine at that moment. Few weeks back, my dear car (myVi) who had served me for 3 years long in the deserted varsity had a severe damage. It helps cutting down lots of my sien-ness days here. My elder brother's the unlucky victim in this accident. It appears that before the accident happened, the BMW lady driver parked her car at the middle of the road, taking both the middle and fast lane. That night was also in rain and my brother couldn't stop the car on the spot. (how to sudden brake at 80km/j?)

I went to the scene after the knock with Chan Yee, my brother's housemate which to my dismay, seeing the very bad condition of the car and flesh opened at my bro's knee. We rushed him to the nearest hospital, Hospital Serdang. Well, thankfully my bro is fine. Nothing serious happened to him except the 12 stitches on the side of the knee. He had 2 nights in the hospital and then back to the hostel the day after, not in Ipoh. It's been 2 weeks since the ordeal happened and do drop him a message or pay him a visit if you want to. I do learned quite a lot of things through this incident. Treasure your life well for you have the only one chance in life where there's no turning back. Whenever safety is concern, make sure you do take precaution. If it involves money for the better of the safety, don't be too hard on saving it, spend it!

another successful event, the Watt's Performance Night!

Well, taking off from the sad part, the Watt's Performance Night which was held on Wednesday had a very great response. More than 800 people came for the event which had surpassed our target. Thanks to everyone who had came to support for the event, or rather more to enjoy the music. I hope that night has painted everyone's heart with great musics. The whole committee was worrying on how the night would turn on as it's also the first time the CCS's band performance was held in the multi purpose hall. The feedback from the audience was great especially from our TNC itself. A job well done once more! ^^

A =.=! post to begin with, I recalled that the previous few posts had not had lots of pictures in it. Oh well, sometimes we must have a mixture of everything in life. We can’t be ‘picturing’ all the time and not having ‘wordings’ to blend with. Very internal? Indeed it is for those who understand what I meant. I just had one of my major events finally over yesterday after 3 months long of preparation and thank God it went out very well. Being a company representative committee in my varsity’s Career Fair, I am glad to see at about 44 companies willingly to come and give the job opportunity to our students at a time of global economic crisis like this. All our efforts were not in vain. Though it has taken the toll on me; neglecting my studies and health at stake, I am happy to be able to contribute and be part of the team with great people. Well, I shall have another post on that later… ^^

I had a long 7 hours of sleep yesterday and was awaken by the impending stress from assignments, reports and tests. (not to miss out the Watt’s Performance Night promotion) To begin the stressful day with, I received an email sent by my dearest good friend, YiVon entitled, “Test your IQ”. You are viewing the Concept of GOD as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, Science can't even explain a Thought. It uses Electricity and Magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view Death as the Opposite of Life is to be ignorant of the fact that Death cannot exist as a Substantile Thing. Death is Not the Opposite of Life: just the Absence of it. Now tell me, Professor, do you teach your Students that they evolved from a Monkey?
Professor : If you are referring to the Natural Evolutionary Process, yes, of course, I do.
Student : Have you ever observed Evolution with your own eyes, sir?

Decision...

Reading this post will be my 101 posts since the start of my blog. Kudos! I had reached to a century of post reckon since 2 years back. That’s not a big amount though, if you see how gazillions of people had outnumbered me so easily in their blogs. Anyway, it’s still my personal history. *winks*

Alright, back to my dilemma. I had already made up my mind after contemplating thoroughly for the past 2 weeks. I won’t continue the Agilent application or applying for any other companies. [How I will miss applying for ABB or Alstom…] Since YTN had honoured me with the scholarships and 4.5k allowance per semester, it’s wise for me to just play by the rules. They had taken a huge burden away from my parents and I should payback them with my loyalty. After all, working at TNB isn’t that bad after all right? ^^ Though I will be working there for the next 7 years, it won’t hurt also to work for an extra 3-months internship; without any pay…

The reason I made up with that decision is due to the fact that I don’t want to screw up myself for future sake. Just imagine, if I had applied and got for few companies, this will mean that I might reject them if my sponsor [suddenly their policies changed vastly…] enforced that the internship must be done in TNB, compulsorily. I don’t want to have a bad record or being listed in their ban list. After my 7 years of bond, I might be jumping ship to better companies depending on the situation. The mistakes that I had created now might affect me in the near future. Therefore, I realized that it’s better for me to have a new, clean record with the companies. Come to think of it, this is just an industrial training. No big deal actually. I am not going to work there [if the place of my intern is somewhere else excluding TNB] after all. The global economic crisis faced at the moment will hardly see a company willing to buy over a sponsored student; which means they are taking over my sponsors place by repaying them the total amount being sponsored for me, though there are very very very few cases in my varsity. [That person must be superbly good…who am I after all right?] As for now, since I got the interview from Shell, I shall try my utmost best for it. If I failed for that, then I will just do my training in TNB. [Wish me luck ya for the interview next week] ^^

So dear readers, this is the bottom line I had decided. I am not sure if you had faced the problem that I had but if you do, just want to wish you the utmost best in your decision. Think further ahead and make a wise one. =)

I am awake right now, having bad coughs that prevented me from my lovely sleep. Sigh! What a tiring day from the badminton tournament, though I didn't participate. Tomorrow will be the same as well to help out Joseph organizing the competition. At the same time, must also go to support both our dear friends, Yee Siong & May Peng participating the competition. [I felt that it's tough to see girls that can really play badminton very well these days, though there's abundant of them out there] ^^

Checking through my emails, I am pretty surprised to receive an email notification from Shell regarding my Industrial Training application. To be honest, I only started applying to various companies just the beginning of this week. We were provided with 200++ list of companies around Malaysia and I had only listed out a few companies initially. Why few? You will understand as you read along. I am very interested to work in power related fields, which in this case will be at the power plant because I felt that my interest lies more on power rather than electronics or communication. By this, the only 2 companies that came across my mind initially were Alstom & ABB. Just to try my luck, I had also decided to apply for Agilent and Shell. I am supposed to be happy when I managed to receive the reply from both Agilent and Shell, which were the only 2 companies I had applied so far. [Gosh, is it too late to apply for Alstom & ABB? January already still haven’t applied…] Though, that’s not the case right now….

Being a scholar from Yayasan Tenaga Nasional (TNB), this is where the dilemma starts. My last resort for this training application will be at TNB, if I didn’t get any feedback from outside. Initially, I’ve been told that I must apply my internship at TNB. There won’t be any allowance paid for that 3 month and I have to apply for that training all by myself. Goodness! They don’t even give me any allowance, which I felt it’s not fair because scholars from previous years got. Well, who am I to demand for such rights? The worst thing is, they don’t even assist any of us the very fundamentals things for the application; e.g. giving details or cover letter. What were the people inside that building very busy of? My allowance for this semester also havn’t received. Pokkai liao! How to survive? They said after Chinese New Year only give. Give ang pao meh? That’s what leads me even more to find my training out of TNB; somewhere else...

This is where the dilemma begins. Few days back, I had a chat with my lecturer, Mr SS. He’s an ex-YTN overseas scholar. After being sponsored for 5 years, he went for PEPS training in TNB for half a year before being placed on where to work. At that time, he was interviewed and asked if he would like to be a lecturer. His response was being a field engineer in transmission line initially and maybe after some lengthy period of time only would he work as a lecturer. Weeks after that interview, he was sent a letter to his home, stated that he’s being ‘offered’ a job to be a lecturer. If he rejects, he must pay the entire sponsored amount for his course, which lead him to no choice but to accept what’s given; a job which is not what he wanted. That’s a whooping 100k++ debts to be settled! Alright, he had worked since then for the job not of his choice till the bond of 7 years ended. After that, he tried applied for field engineer back (transmission) but to no avail, there’s no response till date. By the end of the chat, I started to have this thought, will they put me in a job or position which isn’t my interest if I didn’t had my training with them?

My brother’s friend’s brother was also the ex-scholar. He didn’t go through the training in TNB and ended up being in Human Resource Department for about 5 years, the limit of his bond. ZzzZzz. HR department for an enginner? If that’s so, then would it be better if I just stick to the last resort without having to waste my time applying for others? My seniors told me before that though they said that the internship must be at TNB, it’s not compulsory. Most of them did their internships out of TNB. How about me? I still haven’t send in the resume that Agilent requested through emails and what am I supposed to do with the Shell’s interview? Take it as a normal interview or screw it? How about applying for ABB or Alstom? Should I make a bold move of doing my internships out of TNB? I guess I will just have to make my decision, real fast…

the standing pride of Malaysia...

'That's the life', 2008 and welcome to the brand new 2009! Everyone in this global planet is anticipating much on what a brand new year can be. For all that we had strived in the past, that’s what future lies ahead of us. One thing for sure, 2009 is synonymous to the year 1997, whereby everyone called it ‘recession’ year. Speaking about 2009, the mind will endlessly tell that it will be a hard year considering the world economic downfall is a very big crisis to most of us. I guess this is the year where we should spend our money wisely enough to not let the crisis comes above us, unless if you are financially able enough, then by all means.

Will 2009 be a good year for me? I am not quite sure about that. Let me begin my story; I was supposed to join Keat, Li Chiat, Jason and etc for the countdown at the Curve after my family dinner, 10pm. Towards then, I suddenly felt feverish and went to get some rest. After those sms-es to all my friends, I then fell asleep till the next day’s noon. That’s how my New Year begins. Ah Mak, I didn’t go to the Curve as I am busy countdown-ing with ‘Chau Kung’ that moment. =( As for the New Year day itself, I spent most of the time sleeping also to get the sufficient rest for the next day. What do you think? It’s not a good start but I do hope for a good ending… ^^

Well, people used to make their New Year resolution every year. It’s more like a list of targets to be achieved by the end of the year. I would say it’s a good planning though; it gives you a great direction to where you are going. My resolution? It’s a secret! Hehe! Actually, it’s not that secretive after all. I shall share it with any of you if you are interested to know. =)

Rumblings and wishes...

First and foremost, a very Merry X'mas to everyone, especially to all my loyal readers! ^^ Just reached home yesterday night, an hour before Christmas and I am now typing in the interval of a futsal match with my Ipoh kakis' and X'mas family dinner. I had a very busy month after the involvement as props and backstage crew in the annual Techflow Christmas Night Musical Play entitled '2000 Years Ago...' The play is a great success! The part that I myself (in fact, most of us) liked the most is the performance by the Stepping Stone, Seputeh. We were all very touched, amazed and felt the tenderness of the awesome, legendary & spectacular performance. "Brilliant, simply brilliant!" =)

Every semester, I had never failed from letting myself involved in something. I seriously hate varsity life that lies on studying and normal routine only, which I find monotonous. That's why; I am always filled with busyness. Just a day after the Christmas Night Play, I have to start another job, as the Company Representative under my boss, SueSue in organizing the Career Carnival 2009 from the 2nd till 25th of February 2009. It's more alike the Career Fair held by other varsities. Our department will be going on very busy calling the companies around the state region to participate in the event. It should be about 300 companies, be it major or minor.

That will be a very busy task! It’s an uphill task to get them come for participation or even sponsor. My apology if I neglected you all this while. Till now, I still felt the same way... I will let you have the verdict. Anyway, apart from the career fair, I am still involved in Watt Performance 2009 which is held on the 3rd of March 2009. Theme of our event, 'Watt's Going On'! This time, I will be part of the promotion team under boss, Mr. Thomas. (High High Music) Hehe!

Oh yeah, not to be missed that I was again, involved in Engineering Week 2009 at the first week of January as a volunteer for IET. Gosh! I didn't realize the burden I had placed myself. That doesn't include my studies, assignments and 2 projects. =.=! Digital Signal Processing, Semiconductor Devices, Data Communication and Network, Sports Project and Malaysian Studies Project... I am so so so dead... Anyway, this will not be my excuses as I shall try to go through all this without fail! Wish me luck! =P

Uniten Christian Fellowship (TECHFLOW) of Universiti Tenaga Nasional will be organizing the annual Christmas Musical Drama entitled "2000 Years Ago". Our aim of this musical drama is to share the meaning and joy of Christmas during the Christmas season in UNITEN. We would be setting up a charity booth to collect donations for a shelter, Stepping Stones. The children from Stepping Stones will also be presenting an item in this event. the brand that everyone seeks...

As the previous post had stated, the Adidas Warehouse Sale is over by now, for good. ^^ It's one of the best sales I had ever actually seen all this while. You can really get good stuffs there especially on the very first day. Ordinary people like me can get branded stuffs at a reasonable amount of price.

These days, I have seen lots of sales and promotions going around KL with the direction given pretty misleading. That's either the maps scaling wasn't understood by 'ordinary' people or the direction provided wasn't clear. Though, the Adidas Warehouse Sale is quite easy to find, around the Tmn Tun Dr. Ismail area. I went there with my bro, his gf and frenz at about 11am on the very first day. You might have already expected a bad traffic congestion there.

There's just so many people there even at 11am. Few funny scenes can be seen whereby uncle and aunties screaming for the door to be opened. All sorts of languages broke loose. Hehe! Well, we just waited at the so-called 'queue'; pushed & cramped while watching humanity's ADIDAS hunger acts.

Wondering what's being sold inside? Just too much to be named! All sorts of ADIDAS branded shoes, bags, caps, T-shirts, jerseys, and etc etc. F-30/Predator soccer boots at only RM 120! Whooping 60%++ cheap to lots of stuffs! Liverpool original jerseys (Red/White) at only RM 40; too bad, by the time I went there, no more already. Aiseh... Still, I managed to get a couple of things I wanted for new year. Glad that I managed to get a Bounce at the size that I wanted. My elder brother was only hunting for that shoe but to no avail, there's not a suitable size for him. How sad? Consider lucky for myself... ^_-

I received a notification in Facebook lately. It's the ADIDAS Warehouse Sale in KL! Really looking forward to get branded stuffs in cheap. Take a look at the poster below for more details. Since my add & drop will be on next Thurs, I won't be going for classes earlier on as usual. Hehe! Such a bad boy skipping classes.. Anyway, results came out fine, except for certain subject. Should be contented and happy enough! ^^

Some people living in this society should just live like a rat!! They had got no better things to do. Stealing other person's belongings is just unforgivable! The place they should be living is no other than the tormenting prison. Stupid people! Live on those undergrounds and loopholes better; don't ever step a foot up on the earth!

Wondering why I had reacted as such? My bro just got his W960i robbed in KTM Serdang. Those robbers there are really professionals. His phone, being kept in front of his jeans and covered with a bag can also be robbed just like that! It happened during the transition of stations where people cramp in worst than a packed of sardines. He gave a chase to the robbers alone but reaching to the end, he can't risk his life just for an item. Who knows if the robbers had knife? He can just barely look on as the robbers jumped across the fence to the highway in split seconds. Life is still far more valuable than that. Darn it! I can't imagine if I would have robbed that valuable belonging. That's a whooping 2k item! Curse and condemn those robbers! At the same time, thank GOD I hadn't faced such situation before till date. Don't hope this to happen to me in the future... ^^

For the past 3 months itself, I had already heard that almost 10 of my friends got robbed! Thefts occured most during the night. Smart toy, night stalker also exists in real world? They should only stay alive in the 'game'... So, if you’re ever alone taking KTM, u must ‘MUST’ be extra careful to the surroundings and your belongings. Who knows, someone has kept an eye on U all the while... Same goes to those going out late at night... you will never know the day U will fall into their prey...

I've been fall sick for few days jor. Anyway, there's still some good news arising despite the bad happenings. Petrol price drop 15 cents again to RM 2.00 per litre starting tomorrow. Do remember to save your fuel till 12 midnight, then only pump to the max ya! ^^

It's a pretty late post about past happenings. Hadn't had much time to update on 'My Dear Diary' for quite some time due to exams, again. (Internet connections, assignments, presentations, laments, laments and laments…) Well, since I had ample time for the coming 2 weeks, might as well get something to be done. My workout regime hasn't started yet. Initially, I have planned to really workout beginning next week. Hehe! I might look pretty ‘fat’ at the moment though not oversize. This is all thanks to the food that I consumed during my 'pressure-days'. (Just being grateful…)

Anyway to start things off, the post will be on the Star Hill Gallery, Jogoya Japanese Buffet. We went right after my Communication System paper. (I still have 1 more paper to go...) Most people tend to eat a lot during their exam weeks. (So do I...) We crave for good foods and filled our hunger with excellent cuisine around the vicinity. Cure the stomach first before the brain works well? Foods like buffet will offer a variety of foods where it’s all you can eat style. This will definitely suit me as I am a very big eater. You definitely can’t judge me by my physical appearance. Want to see? Be sure to bring me out for lunch/supper and don’t forget to foot the bill. Hehe!

During that particular weeks, I went to Dim Sum Buffet at Jln Petaling, ‘Max Sushi’ at Sushi King and Jogoya. Few plans were failed such as ‘Lok Lok All You Can Eat’ in Kajang. (Grrrh… Keat…) Anyway next semester, hopefully everyone will keep their promises alive and we shall start hunting for food all over; and entertainments! Yeah!

Jogoya is not anonymous to many KL-citizens or around Klang Valley. You can 'google' the web and find lots of blog post on Jogoya. Since it’s my first, why not blog it? There are 4 slots for the buffet, which each will last for about 2 hours. Whack all you can, dude! We went there on Thursday at 1.30pm. (Late Lunch) It seems that ladies will get 50% discount on Mondays till Fridays. How come always got ladies day and not guys day? Discriminating... (Good for you; susu and yeesiong… anyway ladies can’t really eat much, rite?) =P

The surroundings were pretty good with classic Japanese-style atmosphere; hunger and temptuos mindset already on. Stomach’s inlet expanded for food to enter to the max. (“Come to me all my prey”, said the stomach… GG… full blast ahead!) One thing that I noticed here compared to other buffet restaurants was there’s no fried rice or mee-hoon around. With so much of good foods around, rice and mee-hoon wont get a place in your stomach. There are also wine and other alcoholic drinks available. Myriads of seafood are prepared by the chefs to be eaten by you people, especially the small lil lobsters. In other words, good food, good food! ^^

2008 Birthday Victim...

Isn't birthday supposed to be something special, serene and to be cherished? I remember those were the days when we celebrated birthdays by just blowing candles, accompanied by da 'Happy Birthday Song'! (Zum Geburtstag Vier Glug...) It might seemed simple last time but now, I deeply wished for that simple-ness. Ever since I continued my life journey in varsity, the complexity of the celebration has often put me in fear. It was never before tasted in my life. Last year's celebration was a havoc because of that 'wonderful bash' by my uni-mates that resulted me in shower for 6 hours plus. Gosh! Though, I still thanked them for the 'wondeful memory' I assumed that will always be recorded as the 'Cream-Blasting 20th' in the book of my life. The coming 21st? A VERY BIG WOW! Haha! Kiong kan lor... (I only wished for simplicity...grant me?)

I wouldn't even wanted to guess what will happen in the future. Motorbike? Lappie? Dare not! This time around, those gang really like to play 'cars'... =.=!

Anyway, I wanted to take this opportunity to wish Mr. Koo Li Chiat, a very happy 23rd birthday. Hehe. May all ur dreams come true (Taiwan mei?) and whatever has passed, is past. Noise Pollution or Entertainment?

As usual, I haven't been updating my blog for the past 1 month++... Not going to rant anymore on the busy life, studies n etc etc... but I really had restless nights for the past 2 weeks. I will surely make full use of my current holidays to get back those rest. Ipoh, I am back!!! =P

Reached home on last Sunday evening; everyone in Malaysia had anticipated a grand night, the only first gold medal hope for our country, the sole survivor, Mr. Lee Chong Wei. I watched that match with my parents and relatives. Gosh! Really like David vs Goliath! Most of us can feel the tremendous pressure and burden on him. 'Super Dan' has surely won the mental game; being fast, precise and overwhelming. It's just not Lee Chong Wei's day; luck wasn't on his side. Anyway, he has done our country proud at the same time, so congratulation for that effort! Hopefully, we will see the gold medal coming in the next Olympic Games in Britain (2012). Kudos!

What has the title related to this post? Oh well, I am pretty shocked upon reaching my home. Take a look...

a fun fair just right beside my housing area... gosh!

I haven't been to fun fair since my last high school days... but now, everyday meh? pokkai lu...

Having such thing around the vicinity will make the atmosphere more lively but hey, isn't this Ipoh area? Area like my 'Taman' has lotsa old folks and not much youngsters. I bet they had already complained about it for quite sometime since this fun-fair operation started about a month ago. As for now, by 12pm the music will stop and they will close the operation by then. If not, really 'kns'... The music will kept blasting non-stop with all those rock and techno songs. Uncles and aunties will go dancing in their sleep... gg! I won't have a good rest too... sleepless night again?

Special Semester...

Tomorrow will be the beginning of the 3rd year, 1st semester journey in pursuing a degree recognition in my varsity. Taking a look back at the past 3 months, wonderful memories have been accumulated. A lot of things had been gone through; filling up those empty time till I don't even have any free time to update my personal blog . Take a look at the list:

1) Special semester in uni (Principles of Management and Engineering Economics)
2) Maximum fun throughout the short semester (badminton, max futsal, squash, jogging, swimming, karaoke, movies, UEFA Champions League football matches and etc...that makes this special semester the most memorable ones!)
3) Euro 2008 (Spain the crowned champs!)
4) First time working experience (KLCC Guardian)
5) Orientation for varsity new intake (Fresh degree, especially FD5 and 'biawak' rocks!...played new games like kin-ball, frisbies and also kayaking)
6) Yum-cha wif most ipoh frenz and etc...

I couldn't update most of it in time. Lack of time. Lolx. Tomorrow will be the beginning of a new year for me and most of you studying. So, wish you all out there, enjoy the new semester!

Life as a promoter...

Last weekend, I had my first-time working experience as a 'promoter'. I am actually working for Three On Health's company product for three days, brand name is Xando, slimming products which I will promote through my blog in the next post. If you were happened to be at the KLCC and passed by Guardian (KLCC Lower Ground) for that last three days, most probably you had met me there. My working hours for that particular 3 days are from 12pm till 9pm.

Promotion = RM 5 voucher for RM 50 item n above in single receipt till 6 June.

As a first-timer in promoting, I can tell you that there’s so much of a difference in student life compare to promoter. Even students working as promoter, they can hardly challenge those promoters who are counting their special skills and abilities for leaving. They have great desire in getting sales which eventually being turned into income and were highly motivated to gain people’s trust. It’s not easy to be that kind of people and I am quite sure they can be really rich. Cantonese proverbs also have this saying, ‘dead fish also can be turned alive’!

The world is so competitive where everyone’s competing to get the most sales. Sad to say, slimming products aren’t so sellable in today’s market. Lots of people are aware of the side-effects of taking slimming pills. I would say they are also able to use their money very, very wisely. Every single penny counts. After those 3 particular days, I only managed to sell 4 boxes of slimming coffee, not even 1 of those slimming pills. Surprisingly, my sales are ‘considered better’ than the ones in 1 Utama and other hypermarkets; except that I still lose out to my dear cousin; Sue Ann who I should say has a great sales ability. She was located at Midvalley for the particular weekends. Aiseh! Haha!

Fatigue is the number 1 problems that I faced for the past 3 days. 8 hours of promoting and partly standing has dealt tremendous pain to my sore legs. How could you people work for long-term? Maybe it’s my first time and I haven’t got used to it? Legs also have blisters and etc. So strained and pain greatly felt on my legs after work on my way back to my aunt’s place in Kepong by LRT and KTM. Well, I would say it can be bored at times, if it’s not for some of the nearby ‘aunties’ there to speak to me and share their valuable experience as promoter. Some of them actually gave me ‘warnings’ about being competitive to their products. Gosh! Too bad they felt on the deaf ears. =P

Ironically, Guardian had this policy of not letting promoter to make or giving out free drinks to the customers. If not, I can at least spend the time doing something more useful and meaningful which will lead to an increase of sales. I didn’t really manage to talk to most of the people there as my supervisor had already mentioned that in any time, he/she will come and check on us. Too bad, all that I could remembered of besides the 'aunties' are ‘Palmolive’ and the jovial Kerry. Anyway, till now I am still having a bit of S-mode. That’s part of my barriers. From these working experiences, I realized quite a number of things about myself that I must change for the better. Well, humans aren’t perfect rite? So am I. I am still on the path of learning till my death. Till fate meet us some other time! =)

Worth it or not? There’s extra pocket money from this job. Frankly, I use most of it for my leather shoes and some other personal products. Haha. There goes my salary. From this, I also strongly believe that getting a shoe for yourself must be really comfortable no matter how expensive it will cost u. Ur legs will affect the whole body; including back pain and sore legs. That’s why; my advice is never save your money too much in getting a pair of shoes. Buy a quality one because you will never regret later on. Trust me! As for being a part-time promoter in the near future, will I take on the job? Well, I would surely work if the basic salary is real good but at the moment, I greatly need a rest and concentrate on my coming final papers; Principles of Management and Engineering Economics. I seriously wouldn’t want to work as a promoter for full-time as a permanent job. That’s really a difficult life. This is where education plays the role of changing people’s life. There goes my first working experience, in KLCC Guardian. It shall always be remained in my memory. All the best!

Starwalk 2008

Starwalk is held annually in Ipoh since years back. I still remembered vividly the last Starwalk that I joined was in the year of 2004. Ever since then, I didn't participate anymore because I wasn't around in Ipoh till this year. The Starwalk 2008 is back once more with more challenge and fun around the vicinity. It will be held on June 15. There will be two categories – non-competition and competition with both categories covering 10km. Participation for both categories is limited to 7,500 people each. So what are you people waiting for? Entry fee for non-competition walkers is RM8 per person while competition walkers will be charged RM12 per person. The closing date for entries is May 16. We must always face life in reality point of view. Recently just completed these TVB drama entitled 'A Journey Called Life'. You will know what I meant when you watched that. It's true that life isn't perfect. We are all living in an imperfection world. Right now, I am contended with what I have most. Family, friends, studies and financial status are all going very fine. Family.

Normal, common cakes are available almost everywhere. More or less those bakery shops offer similar flavours or types of cakes. What my main point for this post is nevertheless, about jelly cakes. I am sure those staying around Klang Valley would have come across of this cakes, especially PJ people. Yummy Yummy! ^_-

Last Sunday noon, I went out with my cousin sisters to Ikano Power Station, to get burfday cakes for my ‘young leng-lui’ cousin. Hehe! (There’s this local joke on Ikano; “what fish do not have power de”? I am sure you can get the answer right?) Its located right opposite of Curve, just in case some of you who’s wondering the exact whereabouts. The jelly cake shop is named Q Jelly, lower ground floor of Ikano. (No idea why its Q jelly... as long the cake taste good... that matters the most... =P)

This cake shop is specialised in jelly cakes only. You can actually pre-order those cakes through online at Q Jelly. They do have lots of sample cake pictures which really look alike with the real ones in the webpage. Those pictures below were really difficult to be snapped. Got reprimanded by the sales assistant there upon taking it. Hehe! Have to secretly take them from afar.

So, after having some real thoughts and looking through all those cakes, we finally left the shop with 2 ‘chun-ted’ cakes for the birthday people and a small cute rabbit jelly. The price for those is quite reasonable actually; almost RM 40 for a 1kg cake. Secret Recipe will cost almost double of that amount. I seriously recommend anyone visiting Bandar Utama area to try out this jelly cake. You won't regret it. =)

“Liverpool is my faith and Anfield is my heaven!!!” Better think twice first before saying this. We shall see who will have the last laugh. Hehe! Once again, it’s all back to the game of the season; the trophy decider for both top teams in the English Premier League, Arsenal and Liverpool. Neither side can ill-afford to lose their only trophy of this remarkable season, especially Liverpool since Arsenal still has the slightest possibility to win the Premier League title.

the 3-legged battle continues at 2.45am...

Both teams clashed twice last week at the Emirates Stadium. Going through with both draws, Liverpool had a slight advantage as they managed to sneak away an important away goal. I bet later on tonight, Arsenal will be firing from all cylinders to score goals. I am seriously expecting a very pulsating, entertaining and exhilarating yet high-tempo attacking game tonight. (Don’t disappoint us with a boring defensive game ok, Liverpool?) Hehe! Cesc Fabregas, being at the heart of Arsenal’s midfield has branded Rafa’s man for playing ‘boring’ football but we hope that this will not be the case tonight. =P

The return leg at Anfield will be the test of the season for Arsenal as they will be bidding for a trophy this season; either the Champions’ League or Premier league. Anfield will be tormenting as their fans will be roaring with full spirits to the fore for Liverpool. Home advantage? Maybe not. As a loyal Arsenal fan, I will be hoping they can gun down Liverpool tonight and thus going all out for the Champions’ League trophy. They did it against AC Milan, 2006/2007 Champion at the San Siro stadium and I am looking forward for that repeat. Hehe! Van Persie needs to be much sharper at the front with Adebayor scoring from the dead-ball situation. All eyes will be on Fabregas being marked tightly by Mascherano and Stevie G. I wished that Peter Crouch better not playing for this match because he had a good scoring record against Arsenal. Anyway, Gallas and Toure will do their utmost best to keep their strikers at the bay.

The night of clashes between 2 giants, ARSENAL vs LIVERPOOL. Be sure to catch this not-to-be-missed match at 2.45am. (Astro or live streaming. Hopefully RTM 1 will air it live! Poor Crusader...) A usual hectic semester just ended last week. I am having my holidays now, for about less than a fortnight before going back to my varsity. Well, back AGAIN with a new layout design for my blog. I’ve been changing various template layouts since 2 years back then of blogging. About 5 or 6 times? It’s not that I wanted to do so. The previous ones had a serious template damage, which messed up most of the codes in my blog. I got no choice but to abandon it for a moment parallel to the mounting exams that I am facing as a student. What to do? Shit happens! Hehe. Since I am a free man now; at least for a moment, I decided to do some revival project on my blog. Any comments? It took me bout 3 hours of my morning to get the new layout up. ^.-

Holidays are as usual, a bit boring for me but it’s a good time to rest after all the strenuous life of examinations and stresso. I would say it’s kinda lonely. What to do? Still can’t find a 'soul mate'. Lolx. Going to 21 soon but then…haihz. Still hasn’t first blood. Commonly, people will get first blood before level 6; that’s bout less than 5 minutes into the game but hey, I guess in my case I will only first blood towards the end game where people already has Divine Rapier/2 Heart of Tarasque, or maybe I will never ever be able to first blood. Keeping my fingers crossed. Hehe. Alright! Enough of laments! Let time and faith decide on that. =P

What plans do I have? I guess I will be sleeping most of the time besides blogging here and there. A short post to begin with! My blog's having serious template problems and therefore, updates can't be done for the time being. Anyway, the coming weeks will be as usual, superb busy with lotsa things going on in varsity. Hopefully I will be able to take some time off all these stress through blogging. Lolx! Above all, just wanna share with you people out there on Angela's new album, Angela 5.0 (reminds me of versions of DOTA). =p I don't really support lots of artists besides Jay Chou (die-hard fan that's gonna miss his concert this Sat... anybody can record?) but i started to like Angela's songs after watching her movie with Fei Lun Hai (starring the handsome prince, Wu Zhun) in Romantic Princess (Gong Zhu Xiao Mei). The show's introduced by my younger brother who had ample of time watching Taiwan drama while waiting for his result coming out very soon (kan cheong bo?...Good luck ya!). Younger brother watch taiwan drama, elder brother watch TVB drama & i watch a mixture of both! Hehe! Though havent complete watching yet (gonna complete real soon...), most of the songs in this movie are from her latest album. Some songs that i would seriously recommend from her album are Bu Xiang Dong De, Chuang Bian Gu Shi and Qin Ai De... Na Bu Shi Ai Qing. I have been hearing all these songs daily while doing my work after class at night since then. Hehe. If u'r a music lover, don't forget to download her songs. You seriously won't regret, i bet. No harm listening rite? (She's so cute and pretty in the show, with the handsome prince... Haha!... Cheers!) =)

Spending my last Saturday at 1 Utama was quite fun. It's the day where Jay Chou did his movie promo, 'Kung-Fu Dunk' there. The movie will be shown at your nearest cinema nationwide premiering by midnight today. I heard from some of my friends whom already watched it on the 2nd February itself with Jay Chou (they got the ticket from live contest through MyFM radiostation) that the movie's quite nice & humourous. Too bad for me, I couldn't converse well in chinese so no free ticket. Gosh!

We left from our varsity to 1 Utama at about 1pm to avoid traffic congestion. The four of us; me, my elder brother, Chia and Wee Ser spend our time shopping for new year clothes first before going outdoor for the movie promo. Talk about shopping @1U, I spent 3 days shopping there during the New Year. Sienz! I had already bought new year clothes, just left a pair of shoes and finally I managed to get it from Adidas shop having certain discount on that prior day.

The initial plan for that weekend was going for full-scale shopping around Bukit Bintang vicinity on Friday and as for Saturday, go up to Genting early in the morning before moving on for the movie promo in the evening. Lolx. I didn't join the gang of about 15 people (uni frenz) on Friday due to the Micropy test on the following Monday (anyway i bought most of my clothes already). As for Saturday, I couldn't even bothered to go up to Genting (micropy dying... =.=!) but made up my mind to see Jay Chou coz I will be missing his 'Niu Zhai Hen Mang' concert at the Merdeka Stadium on the coming 23rd February due to Moral 2 project at Cameron. Aww... i'lL miSs jAy'S cOncErt... hehe...

Shopping's normal but the crowd at the complex really amazed me. I wonder why? Besides the Jay Uth Fest at outdoor, there are other CNY performances inside 1 Utama complex such as Lion Dance, 'che ling', chinese acrobat performance and etc. Those performance really amazed us. They were great. Thumbs up for them! Moving on to the outdoor, there were also lots of fun activities going on and interesting booth for exhibition and promotion of local artists album & magazines. Met with the Genting gang (LiChiat,YeeMun,Yeesiong,Fong and Kelvin @Wang Li Ke... haha...) after the promo.

The bad part of the day was we waited for Jay to arrive since 7pm under the dizzling rain til 8.15 pm. Met Vensager and his gf there and we waited together for Jay's arrival. (Notice written that jay will be arriving at 7pm...late late...) During that period of time, there were exhilarating performances and games to keep us (all those who waited) entertained. Soon enough, he arrived with a group of police and bodyguards escorting him and the other stars (plus director of the film) to the venue. Fans were screaming for him like mad! Swt! All he did for that night was speak a few sentences and showed some basketball tricks (which Vensager said ordinary people can do). That's not even performing a song from his latest album which made us disappointed. Should have expected that to happen. Hehe. Anyway, that's already quite good to be able to get 'that' close to Jay. =)

To all Jay Chou (Zhou Jie Lun) die-hard fans out there (me?), Jay is coming to 1 Utama today, at 7pm. Don't miss this once in a life time opportunity to get closer to one of the most famous artist in the world. For more information, kindly visit Jay at 1 Utama. I heard that you can actually get the VIP tickets from myFM radio station by answering few simple questions which ended yesterday. Anyway, all is not lost whereby you can also get close to Jay, but just a section behind the VIP seating (fan's club section) by paying a minimum of RM10 for goodies bag. Get yourself to 1 Utama for more fun & excitement around the vicinity. Me? Of course I will be going. With high hopes, I hope to see him performing some of my favourite songs there. Hehe...

Jay Chou's new movie, Kung Fu Dunk will be released in cinema on the first day CNY, 7th February. After 3 consecutive successful movie (i only prefer Initial D and the Secret much much more than the Curse of the Golden Flower), i guessed the 4th one will be quite good; though I don't really play basketball as I prefer football n badminton more. Don't know when I will be free to watch but i will surely watch by the end of this month. Hehe. Initial D is good. I like those phrases used by Chapman To; acting as a very 'farny' and humuorous person. Above all, 'The Secret' is still the best. It’s a touching yet inspiring movie, accompanied by a string of wonderful musical piano songs. I watched that show twice in the cinema and several times in my lappie. =)

By the end of February this month, which is on the 23rd February, Jay will be performing at the Stadium Merdeka live from 8pm onwards. Most of you might have already known about this concert. Sadly, I can't go for these concerts due to my moral 2 project in Cameron Highlands at that prior week. Lately, I have been very busy organizing this project, as part of the committee members. The days are numbered. We are supposed to organize a 3 days 2 night event at the Orang Asli Settlement there. Mainly in accordance with the theme of EDUCATION, we will be going through few relevant yet exciting modules with the orang asli people (mostly kids). In a way, it should be a fun event together with a bunch of crazy friends to make this happen (120 students). Hopefully this project will go on well, excellently (our grades are also vital, depending on this project which accumulate about 70%). =P

New Year has just passed a month ago, Chinese New Year is coming but hey, it's my new blog layout that matters. After all the hassle and stress in varsity days, I can finally number my coming holidays. 2 weeks of break before resuming the final battle of the current semester. How's that? Today's the 1st of February 2008, whereby the year of rat is approaching very soon for the chinese. I won't be going back that early for this coming CNY since my parents are coming up to KL to celebrate here. This year also wont be really celebrate CNY after all due to the demise of my grandma 2 years back. So friends, sad to say no 'ang pow' this year. Hehe. Come back next year then. Anyway, all friends are truly welcomed to my place with open arms. =P Hope to blog quite frequent from now onwards to be part of the blogosphere family of the world. Giggle...

The wealth of health

Taking serious care of ones health is very vital; physically and mentally. Health is the main subject of all life forms. I had been seriously sick for the past couple of weeks. It might seemed simple from the outside but bear in mind that 2 weeks of sickness isn't just purely cough, fever or even flu; other diseases started to exist momentarily such as gastric, heavy hiccups, headache off and on, blur vision, pale, weak outlook, and etc. It's very difficult to get things done when you are down with all this diseases. I had skipped all my classes the entire week and missed several societies meeting because of all these. Pain is all that you get when u neglect ur health besides being bedridden for the entire time. There's no point in regretting something that has happened but to move on strongly. The point here is, remember to cherish your health well, take good care of it and don't regret later on. Health is only once, just like your life as the saying goes 'prevention is better then cure'!

P.S. : Can't even 'pong' at the moment... Hehe! =P

The battle continues for a piece of meaningful certificate, a certificate that resembles myself and most likely my future. Squandered last semester, workaholic-wanna-be this semester. I don't know if i will be able to update my blog as often as I can. Post on the 'story of mah-jong creatures' might even take centuries to reach to the finale. Slowly stay tune from time to time if you're curious to know the plot of the story. This semester will also mark the end of 2007, another memorable year for me. I've actually already listed a few resolution for the coming brand new year. Might share out at some other post later on. Anyway, i won't be on9-ing that often after all because i don't reli see the better side of it unless if there's any urgent or emergency business to talk to. I really wanted to look out to the society to see how working life will be, getting hands on early might be beneficial too. Cultivating reading habits will be helpful to arm myself with several arsenal before facing the dreadful world of work. All da best to everyone in their daily lives! =)

The Untold Story of ‘Mah-jong Creatures of Uni-10’ Part 1

There’s only one word to define my results, ‘disappointing’. Full stop. Don’t want to talk about that anymore. Promise myself to work harder next semester. I am seriously not sure what happened to me last week? Sick due to stomach upset for almost a week. Sienz! Anyway, I find it a bit boring or rather monotonous to just post up ‘normally’ on those 1 week holiday trip to the south. So, I came out with an idea of compiling them into a story. Hopefully it will capture your mind and imagination. =)

‘Mah-jong creatures? What on earth is that *fill in the blanks with your thoughts yourself*?’ might be the first thing to struck at your indigenous minds. Have you deliberately ever seen mah-jong creatures alive? (I am very sure NO!) Well, this is an untold story of 11 mah-jong creatures (for disclaimer purpose, this is just a mere FICTION story and has nothing to do with any life and death matter) particularly named Tung (Kelvin), Nam (Richard), Sai (Hee Guan), Pat (Wei Kiat), Chung (Me! Me! Me!), Fatt (Chei Siang), Pan (Yee Mun), Tong (Fong), Sok (May Peng), Fei (Yee Siong) and Man (Karen). How did they come alive? Of course, every story has its beginning and everything has its origins...

Chapter 1 - The beginning

The story begins when Liverpool’s striker Peter Crouch ‘am kong-ly’ scored 2 goals against Besiktas and out of a sudden, lightning struck at the top of the typical old double-storey rented house’s antennae; accumulating infinitely forceful magnetic field and thrust them into the mah-jong set. *Puff* 11 mah-jong tiles in various size appears, landed on the floor. Having physical attributes and characteristics of a human in the giant mah-jong tiles, they started to move about. They were puzzled, looking at each other aimlessly. To their horror, out of nowhere, an illusionary magic ball appeared, amplifying a glimmering flash of lights on the wall stating ‘Your origins can be found at Gunung Ledang’. After a while, the words disappeared into emptiness along with the ball. The stunned creatures then take some time to recover from the sudden fright and held into a small discussion...

Nam: How, how now?
Man: Yeapz! Good question. How now...
Chung: What are we? We need to know!
Sok: Yes, it’s true. We need to follow the clues given.
Fei: How are we supposed to get there? We don’t even know where that ‘Gunung Ledang’ place is...
Pan: Gunung Ledang... Can eat ah? I am getting hungry already... (smiling away)
Tung: Me too! But then, Gunung Ledang is a place, mountain. How to eat wo?
Sai: Hey, can you two get a little more serious? We are having a serious deep shit problem here ok? Get your head right! You are just mah-jong tiles, how can you ever be hungry? (in a while, his stomach sounds) Urghh...
Tong: You do feel hungry too, right? We are all mah-jong tiles with human’s attribute.
Pat: Say! Say! Say! Cool down ok? I found this map to Gunung Ledang at the toilet upstairs. It stinks a little and a bit wet but still readable. I think someone must have had planned to go there before us. I wonder who he is...
Fatt: Nevermind! Don’t bother much about that. Okay. Let us all go there right away. Pack your things and we will move. I found 3 car keys at the closet downstairs. Me, Tung and Nam will drive. Hurry up!

TVB drama

Recently just finished watching 2 'latest' TVB drama, entitled 'Kan Yan Kin' and 'Crime Fighter'. Quite nice till no time to blog bout my recent 1 week holiday trip. There's also this drama even more 'latest', acted by Charmaine Sheh and Jordan Chan entitled 'Word Twisters' Adventures' (鐵咀銀牙).

interesting and exciting crime adventure... also 4 out of 5 stars...

Lately, u can see a lot of China women selling those TVB's DVD everywhere. I do not know much bout their origin but then, this thing has become a common thing especially at the restaurants. What a way to earn money? How did this idea penetrate through out markets? Those video, vcd or dvd rental shops surely goin to bankrupt soon. I wonder how they are goin to survive if there's no new idea's being invented and implemented...

Musical Play

This weekend was kind of special. I was involved in helping out my good friend, Kwok Yii and his gf in a musical ballet play (I assume) by City Ballet. (I am not sure if PSPA, Perak Society of Performing Arts is also involved) The play, compromising three different stories; The Swan, Aladdin and Nutcracker were indeed superb and entertaining. Musical play is one of my favourite genre of drama ever since I was involved in my school play back in Form 1. I still remember ‘Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ pretty well besides other short mini plays such as The King & I, Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Sound of Music and etc. After that, I left drama field till now due to certain reasons. (Maybe I should blog out an ‘Untold Story About Me’..... anyone interested?) =)

I actually prefer those plays rather than drama because of the melodramatic sentimental, soothing music. I do not really like hard rock metal, eardrum-spoiling music like those Alfred always listen while driving. =.=! Anyway, what’s my main duty during the play on Sunday night? U wouldn’t believe this. Its backstage duty but not really ‘backstage work’; keeping cute small kids (about 20++) in control for the whole night. What an unforgettable experience! Well, you know small kids? Some can get a bit nasty but some can be real angels. There’s this really cute, cute little girl at the age of 5 out of a sudden broke into tears. I tried to console her and she responded in a really cute manner. She stopped crying and stared at me with a really cute expression. When she speaks, awww.... maximum cute. Haha! What a waste that I didn’t take her picture. All hand phones were supposed to be switched off and I just followed their orders. I am very sure you will agree with me when you see her picture and also listen to her speaking. Cute Jacqueline, that’s her name (without the cute of course). You won't remember this 'gor gor' taken care of you as you grow up older. =P At the young, tender age already learn ballet and learn to perform in front of a big crowd; about almost 1000 people I guess. That’s a very good development for a child. Their parents must be very proud of them. All the best to them!

I have even seen people at my varsity having stage fright during presentation. In the corporate world, it’s very important to be able to converse and perform in a strong, firm manner. If not, you might lose out to other competitors easily. I can presume that life later on for me will surely get tougher. =) That’s how I actually spend my first week of holidays besides watching movie, ‘yumcha’ and sports. I might blog about my trip to Muar, Melaka and JB (right after finals for a week) some other time when I am free. Results will be out by next Monday and I am really keeping my fingers crossed!

Out of nowhere, i arise from my bed at the dawn. The day where i am supposed to rest till late in the morning turns out to be the otherwise. I was deprived of sleep for the past few weeks due to the finals and when climax was over, i should have a good bedtime. Its all because of the annoying blood-sucking MOSQUITOES' fault for getting me restless. Amanah is real dreadful towards the end of the semester. Total rubbish all over the hostel. In a world where mannerism does not penetrate through deep into the younger generation's mind, these will only reflect on what are the worst case scenario of our future lies. Imagine, people throwing rubbish out of the window just like that, be it crumble paper, can drinks, polystrene package or etc, without ever concerning anyone right below the window. Furthermore, living in a place surrounded by junks might turn you into part of the thrash. If you can't beat them, join them right?

Anyway, since i am awake and totally not in the mood of packing up my stuffs yet for holidays, i might as well surf around the web to see what's going on around the blogosphere at the moment. Ah-Ha! Blogmate Crusader finally updated something quite interesting. The post is on the bibliography of his hero, idol, leader or whatsoever you name it; all in all, one of the greatest creation by God. I myself would like to pay tribute to the one and only eminent 'Uncle Lim' of Malaysia. History himself speaks everything. Earlier days of life (50's era onwards) was much tougher compare to generation these days in terms of hardship. Go back and ask your grandparents or even your parents about it, they will tell you the same thing. Last time, they work/struggle under the sun, now we work/struggle under the air-con. Generation these days were made easier by them for a better living. Due to this fact, people are starting to forget their roots. Bear in mind that the present and future can never exist without the past. My dad once told me about how 20 years down the road before, he struggled to earn a good living. Those days, motorcycles are almost equivalent to cars. Having one is quite a great achievement. Salary were just 1/10 of the current ones as the value of currency is small. 'Wan tan mee' noodles and a cup of 'teh tarik' will only cost you about 5 cents. How far we were left behind by comparison to other advance countries during that time in terms of our currency values and economy-wise? It was all the effort of our great late country's leaders and few undisputed extraordinary mens who made what Malaysia is today. Click this link to read more about my blogmates opinion...

True enough, for every great successful man or woman comes with great sacrifice, huge responsibility, leadership and unbounded determination. Its all about how you would perceive on your own life; how you see your life in succession of certain things or perception of whatever comes, comes! "No sacrifice, no victory"~ Sam Witwicky (from Transformers). Life is like a journey of lots of subway station. When you reach to a particular destination, you can't stop there forever. You will have to move on to another station and when you decide the next station to go to, you have your aim and direction. Work towards that direction and move on cleverly. I myself truly hadn't reach that level yet as i had my own obstacles to be taken care of right now. This is the part and parcel of life. Nothing comes easy at the moment. The thorns of life is just the beginning.

Finally, i just finished my last final paper for this semester. I got nothing much to say, u people will definitely find it cold or lame but the fact is this semester is the most screwed up semester i had ever faced for the whole 2 years++ at uni. When i pondered back at the past 3 months, much can be cherished, some might be ignored and much should have been forgotten. What are memories if u don't preserved it! I will touch a bit on that the next post but right now, this post was supposed to be up on the first week of October prior to my burfday but due to the busy-ness... cut the crap, take a scroll on what happened on the 3rd of October, 10pm...

Last wednesday night, a bunch of us (mostly EE coursemates+some CE) celebrated the Mooncake Festival at D'Tasik. About almost 20++ people were there. Supposely to be a mooncake festival but...

Land of the west, a whole new world abroad. Its been my dream since long long time ago to be able to go abroad to witness and feel not just the diversity of lifestyle, but also knowing things out of the horizon. I had dreamed to go for Switzerland (partly becoz of snow), London (Emirates Stadium), Rome, France, New York, Sydney and now, maybe Corvallis (after being introduced to such lovely place by my closest and friendliest lecturer in my varsity (kinda genius looking), who wished to be known as Mr. SFF) Take a look at the map (google map) for that location...

He's currently pursuing his phD in (forgot what course) there. Notice the red wordings and arrow at the bottom of the map below? It's the Kelley Engineering Center OSU, his place of work there. At the top of the map where you can see the yellow pins are the Northwest Fillmore Avenue and Fred Mayer. Fillmore Inn seems to be a very nice place to stay though. Currently, he's kinda enjoying life there!

The office is about 7 minutes walking distance away. The best part is, the neighbourhood area is surrounded by cows. Must have lotsa cow milks to drink! =P The weather there is warm, dry and cool at night. It seems that it will rain soon for half a year. I've got to know that the Americans only go for real big,big things. You cannot find 'kapcai' motorbike there, its only Harley Davidson's type. There's also mosque,temples and dozens of churches at the vicinity. Moreover, it seems there's a lot of Asians living around there also.

Sometimes, it seems life is really stressful there till havta eat,sleep and work at the office. On top of that, post-graduates over there can get USD 5k tax relief. That's really a lot compare to Malaysia, maybe due to the high cost of living there. Going overseas to study isn't a glamour thing,but their schools, developments and researches are light years ahead of our uni's. Learning process never ends. I myself also admit that I have a very lot lot lot more to learn. This is the ever-evolving society that changes rapidly in parallel with time. Chatting with him really gives me inspiration and motivation to achieve more. I've known what i want and i will try my best to go for it! =)

UNITEN had this book fest from 2nd to 4th August 2007 at the library. It's quite happening to have such event in the varsity. Of course,it's pretty good to see things happening around the campus rather than a monotonous study life. That's pretty bored! =)

Well, my Moral 1 group is doing community service at the library. I m taking this LAN subject this semester,so havta do community service inside the varsity. Moral 2 project will be doing community service out of the uni,something much bigger and grand. As such, we were part of the Book Fest event. We were doing a free mini-golf course practise for the public throughout that 3 days. You can whack all day long with da provided golf stick till 5pm, that's if you come to the book fest.

The last day of my shift, that's on the saturday; something interesting happened. I myself couldn't imagine i had done this. Haha! Brings back all those past lovely memories. We were supposed to take care of our duty at the golf corner besides assisting the person in-charge of the program flow, Mr. Lee in the colouring contest, jigsaw puzzle contest and quiz on the 'independence day'. There's this couple jigsaw puzzle competition open to all public. Couple means doing it in pairs. Well, for those who know me well, i m kinda active in all sorts of fun activities. I joined them all. Hehe!

So, me n Wee Ser joined as a couple for the competition. Not forgetting those in my group who actually joined in da 'kiddy game'; Vincent and Khoon, Rebecca and Zhuankeng, Karen and Jason, Chuen Hang and Keith. We swept all the top 3 prizes, completing the 70 pieces of puzzle in less than 5 minutes, leaving all juries in a stun-state. Kewl rite? Volunteers who are supposed to help out won the most prizes in the book fest. A box of biscuits and packet drinks to be stuffed all in my hungry stomach....yum yum... =P

Uniten held a very big event for the past 2 days (27 & 28 July) , that is the Innovation and Design Competition (INDEC) plus Robogames at the same time. The event was pretty grand because the Ministry of Higher Education, Y.B. Dato’ Mustapa bin Mohamed came to launch the opening ceremony for this big event.

As for me, I was there helping out my club, the Uniten IET Student Chapter to promote the club to all students taking EE,EP and IT course during the exhibition. For your information (UNITEN students mainly), there will be an Annual General Meeting for UISC at 6.45pm next tuesday (31 July); the venue is at BM 1-021. I seriously encourage all students to join this club, for this club really brings a lot of benefits. Guaranteed almost no regrets! =p

Apart from that, how many of u would have actually heard of sumo robotic games? Its actually a game of 2 players; using their robots to push each other out of the circle platform. This might look simple but hey, to win this it takes a lot more then pure simplicity. Intelligence, skills and wisdom in designing a great robot will help u to win this. What a bad internet connection i had for the whole week. I thought I can post up a few events that i had last weekend with lotsa pics but to no avail, the situation doesn't allow me to do so. Internet is so darn bad. The entries are on TNB Family Day at Bangsar HQ on saturday and Charity Work for Ti-Ratana at SMK La Salle on sunday. Both events really drained me up nicely. When i was back to my uni by 6pm in the evening on sunday, i right away slept til midnite. Woke up a while and then resume my lovely sleep. Haha! That's how i spend my weekend, sleeping. Lolz! Jk! =P

Literal Thoughts...

Resuming to my uni life this week, as usual, everything reverts back to the plain normal situation. What else? Study life… but then once you crossover this stage, there is no turning back, at all. All of us knew that time can never be reversed; unless time travel really does exists, humans will have to move on through myriads of stages. Cherish every moment of your life as if it’s something that you would treasure, protect or love the most, as life in this world is never everlasting.

Since I wouldn’t want to start putting myself in a strenuous study position at the first week, I have some thoughts on this little thing on my mind. A weird lecturer has spoken the same old phrase, “It’s the same ball game, and you just kick the ball on the field…” What I had pondered is that life being resembled with this ball; sometimes it goes into the play, offside or even into the back of the net. It can go anywhere, any plausible area. This reflects to our lives; some may end up at the wrong path and others may get to their goals.

The players? They are the ones who will be affecting the direction of the ball towards the goal. The ball can go to the wing, middle or sideline of the field depending on the player. Life can sometimes be sweet, sour, bitter, salty or even tasteless. (How do you define salty? ^_-)

Player’s condition is also vital, spiritually and mentally. We can see different energy level in each of the players; take an example on Lionel Messi from Argentina, he’s full of energy against Mexico that leads to his wonder goal in the Copa America. Some others might take it simple and lightly on the game. In short, each person has different perception on a matter. Not all thoughts will coincide with each other though some actually happened. Coherently, achieving victory in the game must have people to work as a team. No man is an island; if that game is a team-play game, then the whole team must co-operate thoroughly.

As for the managers, they have their ‘high-winning’ expectations towards the game. The fans too, have their expectations on the game and so these expectations are not just one way trip. If neither of them lift up to these expectations, then somehow they will eventually ended up quitting; managers leaving or fans no longer being loyal. The name of the team carries their dignity and reputation. What’s the point of having so famous pride when they couldn’t uphold that in the game? As time passes, I am sure this reputation will indeed deteriorate and no longer being famous. Forgotten, decaying and perish in time. They will regret if there is still no realization on their mistakes.

That’s life. Ok, enough of rumblings. Some might see some point in it and some might not. Acceptably, I have this friend of mine way back in my National Service (NS) camp. He mentioned to me about how the words of God, that’s the Bible can affect or reflect each of every human’s life. You might just see it as a book. The whole content is finite, which means u can read it all in days. But do you know that reading the same verse in different days can carry different meanings to you? Try it out if you don’t believe me; read it deep in your heart and thoughts in devotion. Magically indeed! That’s why a Bible is a very special book. Succinctly, that’s how human’s perception vary from different perspective. I hope readers can get something out of this, literally. =)

Finally, after days at KL, I am back to yipoh! All I have now is just the remaining 3 weeks of holidays. Of course must cherish it and take a very good rest before resuming to the battlefield. The PATW Competition’s result was announced last sunday night. Though I did not manage to get into the top 3; which I am a bit disappointed, but I knew that I had gained valuable experience from this on what are the expectations from the professionals in real world. (If you would like to know these in much detail, pm me) Let bygones be bygones. That’s the rule of the game. Practically, when there is a winner, there will be a loser. Losing doesn’t mean that it is the end of the road for you. It’s actually conveying the point that the road to victory is much closer to you. Experience and improvement is what that will mature you to do even much better. I am looking forward for more interactive competitions in the near future and will definitely give my best shot! =) On the other hand, I am proud that my compatriot (wee ser) achieved the first place in that prior competition. Glad to have a representative from my varsity to take the champion’s status. He’ll be representing IET YMS Malaysia to the further stages at Hong Kong in August. Good luck bro! I know you are capable of winning that stage too and thus, advance to the final stage at Holland. Gambateh!

Don’t forget my souvenir. Hehe! ^_-

My semester is going to resume on the 9th of July, same date with most of my ex-schoolmates that will start their respective courses in local varsities. Some manage to get their first choice, while the others weren’t that bad. Some were leaving to UMS (Sabah) or UNIMAS (Sarawak) while the others are going to remain in the peninsular Msia. I've heard lotsa weird courses given by the education department. Anyway, good luck to you guys in your respective courses! If you people out there want to check your application results, just type UPUIC number and send to 32300. By the time most of you read my blog, you people had already know the results.Best of luck! =P

The competition has just ended this morning! What a huge relief!!! I dun havta stress myself again,memorizing the long pages of script and this reminds me of my past debate days. =p but all well ends okay; the results will be out few days more. I don't reli matter watever the outcome is. Do the best and let the rest comes by itself! That's my motto. Hehe...

Thank to my club president,mr tan who is willing to fetch us thr wif my compatriot,weeser to subang jaya. After that strenuous competition, we relax ourselves; having lunch at ikea eating currypuffs and drinking free-flow of soft drinks and then off we go to mines to witness the 'i want to be a model 2'. Hello! I dun wanna be a model k? Of course,i dun even meet the main requirement, that is able to converse in mandarin. What a disadvantage to me! Other requirements are well met such as height and etc. So 3 of us spend the whole evening playing pool. Later on, we went to the nearby jusco becoz boss got something to do there....Back to uniten (ghey) after that and will spend my whole night there til tml...sienz.... =) back to lovely yipoh on mon morningz... =p

Dilemma

Sigh! The Present around The World Competition is just in the coming few days. I m totally not prepared. I m not ready at all. Such troublesome technical topic, i almost give up every second thinking of the suitable topic, cracking those points and do numerous research. Most participants already prepared bout a month ago and me;less then a week. So screwed! I dun have enough time to practice! Serious in deep shit! Havta go there and try my best;hopefully don't tongue-tied on the stage. I don't think i will be able to get even the top 3;the winner gets to go to Hong Kong to represent Msia for further stages and i will just get a participating cert and go back home. Sometimes, i really thought of giving up. Why join and stress up myself when i can have a very relaxing holiday at home? If i wanna go further beyond my limit,stress is all i havta face. =( Jian,i read through ur blog...i m sure u will be able to find and achieve ur dreams,like u did mentioned in ur blog. An ideal future,family and dreams. I do hope i can find mine too... =)

Athens robbery! The magical nights in Athens Stadium. What a real heartbroken for the Liverpool’s fans. Without a shadow of doubt the game is on; as exhilarating and intense with full of suspense though isn’t as thrilling as 2 years back in Istanbul. It’s also a night to be remembered by whole Milan fans around the world (including me). =) They won the Champions League of 2007 and I would say they are worthy champions in that match. Upon finished watching the premier of Pirates of the Caribbean 3 at 12am; the match started just nice on time when I reached home at 2.45am. Talking about the ‘2 hours and somewhere 45 minutes’ movie, I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars. The show is okay but I felt the 2nd sequel will be much more interesting. The third was much more focused on the ending of the story; a lot of verbal conversation rather than action-thriller packed scenes. The plot should be fine though there are few parts where mystical and fantasy things took place such as Calypso being enlarged after her soul’s released by the 4th Brethen Court and Will Turner turning into undead without a heart. That Calypso part reminds me of Lina using Black King Bar. Hehe! I would suggest movie-goers to actually watch the first and second sequel before stepping foot into the cinema for this movie to grasp what the whole storyline is about. The conclusion is that this show is worth watching, go for it!

Back to the main point, AC Milan vs Liverpool match at Istanbul. AC Milan won the finals by 2-1 thanks to a brace by Filippo Inzaghi with the assist of Kaka. First half is all for Liverpool to kill the game but they squandered numerous golden opportunity. These chances don’t come twice and because of that, they were punished by Milan late in the first half through Kaka’s intelligence, a brilliant free kick by Pirlo and not to forget Inzaghi’s position that close the curtain for first half. For that goal, I would rather say Milan got it through luck; real fluke chance. The set up was brilliant by Kaka, real smart to trick Alonso to foul him just right outside the penalty box. Let us take a look at Liverpool’s side for the first half. They dominated that half but just couldn’t find the net. Pennant playing at the right was effective; having pace and drive but what was lacking is his intelligence, experience and most importantly, finishing. The right flank was totally exploited by Liverpool. On the left side, we have Stevie G commanding that particular area which I think wasn’t a good move by Rafa Benitez. Stevie G’s most preferable area is at the heart of midfield and not the flank. The flank should have been played by speedy players such as Bellamy. Milan’s centre-back was lacking a lot of speed and pace at that moment and if Liverpool made full use of that advantage, they could have been at least 2-nil up. It is a great display by Nesta and Maldini to stop those dangerous threats by Liverpool’s midfiled. Kuyt as a solo striker doesn’t function well in that game. He didn’t get much chances to be inside the penalty box to strike. At the defense, Mascherano was superb in closing down the threats by Kaka. That leaves almost no space for Kaka to exploit. Liverpool should have known that the key of their victory is to stop this one man, Kaka. Carragher and Agger were hardworking in stopping Milan’s flank which proved quite effective. Midfield was quite balance for both sides; Alonso and Zenden pushing Seedorf and Pirlo back to their own half. Gattuso wasn’t that effective compare to the semi’s against Man Utd; keeping Christiano Ronaldo at the bay. In the end, luck wasn’t at Liverpool’s side and so, Milan stole an important goal lead in the first half.

Coming into the second half is the most vital part of the game. Both teams started of good but as Milan is leading by a goal, Liverpool was more on the attack. As the game went on, Liverpool almost seemed to be scoring a goal through Gerrard and Alonso’s strike but they missed them. Late in the second half, Rafa made a gamble by replacing Mascherano with Peter Crouch to add more bites to the attack. This will be the biggest mistake made by him. Taking of Kaka’s marksman will give him even more space to explore when Milan’s on the attack. Once more, this man’s brilliant sight in putting a superb through pass to Inzaghi; beating the offside trap and Inzaghi overpowered Reina to slot home the second goal. By then, Liverpool’s defense was caught sleeping on the pitch and seemingly lethargic. That goal couldn’t have happened if the defense ran down to the goal line and cleared the ball off. If you look through the replay, Inzaghi’s second goal strike has very less power and momentum; the ball just rolled into the net. Where was the speedy defense of Liverpool at that decisive moment? I’ll just have to say that the night belongs to AC Milan. In my point of view, another tactic that Rafa made that lead to the downfall of Liverpool’s game is that above all substitutes, he chose to put Kewell instead of Bellamy. Kewell has been out for months due to injuries and totally wasn’t match fit. At least Bellamy was outstanding when he played in a couple of Champions League match, e.g. against Barcelona. Remember the 2nd leg match between Man Utd against AC Milan? Man Utd paid the price of putting the unfit Nemanja Vidic at the centre of defense which let Kaka to strike a powerful goal sending Van Der Sar to the wrong way. That game was understandable because they do not have any more quality players to fill in the defenses due to injuries. At this very high tempo and vital match, it’s very important for a team to have all match fit and experience players. A wrong move or tactic without luck will just end up losing. Liverpool got the only consolation goal late in the 2nd half through Kuyt’s header and that’s the only time Kuyt ever get into the penalty box to strike. Upon Kuyt’s goal, I thought this night will be another remarkable comeback for Liverpool to repeat the 2005’s final feat but it all ended when the whistle was blown by the referee.
Overview, Liverpool is much more of hardworking on the pitch where as AC Milan’s smart in every move that they take. What makes Milan worthy winners is that they have a bunch of very quality and experience individual players such as Kaka, Inzaghi, Nesta and Gattuso compare to Liverpool. Above all, the managers’ tactics and decision wins the game. Ancelotti outsmarted Rafa that night besides depending on luck. As a fan of Kaka, I can’t helped but to say this man makes the biggest difference of all in spearheading Milan to the final and thus, winning the most lucrative football competition in Europe. Hola! =p

Moral of the story : Intelligence plays a vital role in a person's life. Hardworking alone isn't enough. Sometimes luck does matter. Use them (combination) wisely and u'll be successful in life! =)

Holiday sure is fun. You get a lot of rest; sleeping about 11pm and waking up by 10am the very next morning and on top of that, boredom. Yeah! Most importantly, I get to lay on my wonderful bed for 2 months before surrendering to the hostel ones which sucks because of thin layer. As often I will be awakened by my mama’s thunderous voice boomed outside my bedroom door and in a minute, here I am up on my feet. Relinquishing the obligation as a son, I accompany her most of the mornings to where else if not market. Haha! How many guys actually do accompany their parents there? You learn a lot actually, especially in getting the rough ideas of how much certain vegetable will cost you, apart from the pungent cum foul aroma surrounding that area which most people dislike that can make you puke upon hitting your dear nostrils. Apart from that, entering the end of 4th week of the holiday out of the 2 months break, that’s surely a long period of time but hey, I couldn’t find any job though because employers don’t hire people for a month even its part time. Actually I can, provided I ‘bluff’ them during interview which I m not truly good at it. Hehe! Sinful right; but its becoming a norm amongst the society, especially part-timers in big shopping complexes. I am sure employers there already expected for this to happen.

And so, how did I manage to fill up my time in the past 4 weeks? Well, apart from the Genting trip (Unitenmates), KL trip (Ipoh Heng Tai) and few ‘yum-chas’, all I did most of the time was staying put at home and be a nice boy. Hehe! Apart from doing household chores, I spend most of the time watching TV like a potato couch and not to forget my dear computer which music blared from those funky 8 years old speaker. Believe it or not, I am really gaining weights throughout this period of time, momentarily. [This reminds me of the genting trip. If you weigh over then 70kg, you will be barred from playing the ‘Super Toboggan’ at Genting. By the way, that game wasn’t exciting at all as I couldn’t feel the excitement compared to few years back then. Alfred, lucky you that the attendees actually allow you to play. Is it because of desperate facial expression of yours or out of pity? Joking bro! =p ] Am I fat? Well, things are always unpredictable isn’t it; as life is. One fine afternoon, you will feel blazing heat from the sun and after a couple of hours later, you will see sky darkened with wind shrieked and howled. Of course, unstoppable downpour will start and sometimes you might even find thunderstorm wreaking a havoc atmosphere. That’s life…..always UNPREDICTABLE!!! Agree? Think about it and read between the lines…..

Back to the series, I found that I always get deviate easily from my thoughts. What I am about to share is the several TV series that I find them interesting though some might assume those shows are ‘parias’ which literally means low class series because Astro or those that can receive other TV channel from overseas offer a myriad of better and latest TV series. Hehe! You might never know you are on of them. =P

Weekdays Series :

10am – TV2 Chinese series (title unknown but its at this hour) (China& local show mix)
2pm – NTV7 Falling in Love (repeated)
5pm – 8TV Portrait of Home 2
6pm – 8TV Taiwan Ah Cheng (Hokkien)
7pm – TVB show (TV2) & Deal or No Deal (Reality game show at NTV7 - Mon & Tues)
8.30pm - 8TV Central Affairs 2 & news
9.00pm – Love in Heaven (TV2 Korean – Mon till Wed)
9.30pm – Phoenix from the Ashes/Man of the house (NTV7)

Somewhere in between those time,I'll just prefer to lay on my bed and have a very good rest. During the weekends, I also watch shows like Guess Guess Guess (8TV Sun night), Sky (8TV 7.30pm Sun), some other movie and the list goes on. Certain shows really, deeply attracted my interest. Let me see, shows on TV2 at 10am revolve more on current happenings such as home problem, social problems, and love matters. ‘Falling in Love’ is also interesting especially characters like Herman will bring exposure to viewers that have alike personality. It’s also portraying current love affairs amongst youngsters or adolescence. Nevertheless, the rest are also almost alike; its just that the diversity of the plot that makes big differences. I kind of like this Korean series called ‘Love in Heaven’. Touching, romantic, exhilarating and whatsoever feelings, you name it upon watching this series. How I wish my future wife will be alike that main female actress in personality wise and overall. Hehe!

This is da 3rd week of my break. Basically reli doin nuthin. Normal routine. Eat sleep besides playing futsal n yumcha. No work. Wat to do? Leong tei kun only la. Swt. Boredom world. Luckily before i left my uni,i downloaded few tvb dramas and anime. Currently, i just finished watching Trinity Blood. Reli nice anime but the ending was pretty bad. Too drastic. But overall,i will rate it 4 out of 5 star for da story line. Hehe. I never knew there's such thing called krusnik, 'a vampire that sucks vampire's blood'. Dunno whether its a legacy, myth or fantasy. But hu cares,its interesting. =p

Recently,i found reality tv show is getting hotter n very popular amongst msia citizen. Since the introduction of 'Who wants to be a Millionaire' few years back, its drawing lotsa ppl's attention. Likewise, there is this Malaysia Idol, One in a Million, Superstar, So you think you can Dance and da latest Deal or no Deal in our local television broadcast. Talentime shows are ever growing and exhilarating with different concept and ideas by da producers. Dance,singing,luck,strategy or watsoever is getting lotsa good response. One thing is for sure, the telecommunication company which handles the vote for all those competition is getting very rich indeed. Not to exclude the organiser itself. I see ppl voting around for their favourite contestants in those competition. Imagine, lets say 50 cents per sms,how many votes do u think they will gain throughout the competition? Billions? The amount might reach to an infinite number. Do those ppl who are willing to vote reli get something out of those vote? Think about it. The point is, ppl nowadays are getting smarter in earning money. What a brilliant concept to earn big bucks through this competition but hey,its legal right? No forcing done and its da people's own will to vote in those competition.

I m kinda running out of time rite now. Maybe will write more bout that later on. At home got no internet. Sigh! So havta blog at da nearest cybercafe to my hse. Wats life without internet? I m too stick to it adi. Hehe.

Its been 2 weeks of hols,days are getting more bored. Can't reli find a job that actually i can work for '1 month'....sigh! The whole week i was down wif fever, flu and terrible sore throat. Getting lotsa sleep n rest can be good but hey, i rather go back to my uni and take special sem but no subs were offered. BORING!!! IPOH KAKI OUT THR....HU WANNA GO OUT YUMCHA???? =P

Results had been out;unofficially, i wouldn't consider that as excellent but rather will say it as lucky. I noe i din do well in da finals but then once more, luck is by my side again. Wat did i get? Well, all i havta say is at least the results enable me to see a smile on my parents face. That's all!
=p To all my dearly unitenmates hu havnt checked their results yet, i wish ya ppl utmost good luck!!! Hopefully u ppl will obtain very very good grades.
